I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hornerpub in Lauterbrunnen with my family, and I must say, the experience far exceeded my already high expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and attentiveness made us feel truly welcomed. The room we stayed in was not only spacious and immaculately clean but also exuded a sense of care and investment from the owners, which was truly commendable. One of the standout experiences was the location - being right next to the majestic Staubbach Falls and within a short walking distance from the train station made exploring the stunning surroundings incredibly convenient. Despite being above the town's only pub, we were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and quiet our stay was, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the tranquility of the place. The attention to detail in providing amenities such as a functioning water heater and the option to borrow a hairdryer or kettle from the bar below showcased the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. I cannot recommend this gem enough to fellow nature lovers seeking a peaceful and enriching Alpine experience in Lauterbrunnen.
